Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Build and expose RESTful APIs and implement business logic, validation, and exception handling.
  • Integrate SQL and NoSQL databases and external systems using ORM frameworks.
  • Apply security practices using Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT.
  • Write unit and integration tests and maintain code quality through reviews and clean coding standards.
  • Optimize performance, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization, cloud deployments, event-driven architecture, monitoring, and infrastructure as code.

Requirements

  • 4 to 8 years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java 8 or above and hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
  • Expertise in microservices design patterns such as Circuit Breaker, Retry, and API Gateway.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and status codes.
  • Experience with SQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle, as well as MongoDB and Hibernate/JPA.
  • Familiarity with Git, Maven or Gradle, and Log4j or Logback.
  • Preferred experience with event-driven architecture, distributed tracing, ELK, Prometheus, Splunk, Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kafka, RabbitMQ, GitHub Copilot, and generative AI tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, independent-working, adaptability, and mentoring skills.
