Responsibilities

Develop robust backend application services and APIs.
Design and develop new systems while enhancing existing systems.
Collaborate as part of an agile engineering team to improve team performance.
Automate CI/CD processes.
Monitor and analyze platform reliability and performance and implement improvements.
Work with open-source technologies including MySQL, PostgreSQL, the ELK Stack, Sentry, Redis, and Git.

Requirements

5+ years of software development experience and an interest in running real-world applications at scale.
Demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software.
Excellent coding skills and broad knowledge of the Python ecosystem, including NumPy and Pandas.
Working knowledge of database and messaging technologies such as SQL, Redis, and Kafka.
Experience with Linux environments and shell scripting.
Strong problem-solving ability, judgment, attention to detail, and collaborative working style.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent job experience.
Prior financial-services experience is not required.
