Responsibilities

Develop scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems and APIs serving millions of users daily.
Build performance-critical production applications using Scala, Java, Kotlin, or other modern programming languages.
Direct significant company-wide projects and establish technical vision.
Make architectural decisions and set technical standards and direction for the team.
Implement advanced CI/CD pipelines and robust testing strategies for integration, deployment, and code quality.
Work with relational databases and potentially NoSQL and queueing systems.

Requirements

10+ years of experience developing performance-critical applications in a production environment.
Experience with Scala, Java, Kotlin, or relevant modern programming languages.
Strong knowledge of relational database management systems, including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or equivalent.
Ability to direct significant company-wide projects and set technical vision.
Deep experience making architectural decisions and establishing technical standards and direction.
Good command of the English language.
Preferred knowledge of NoSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, MSMQ, and Play framework.
