Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Workato-based automations for cloud provisioning, environment management, and operational tasks.
  • Provision, configure, and maintain AWS cloud environments for demo and incubation projects.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and SDLC tooling under the direction of senior engineers.
  • Manage demo application and environment lifecycles, including configuration, access control, and decommissioning.
  • Write and execute test cases, troubleshoot issues, and validate solutions before deployment.
  • Document infrastructure configurations, automation solutions, and operational processes.
  • Develop cloud, automation, and AI expertise through self-directed learning and collaborate by communicating progress and blockers.

Requirements

  • Background in information systems, computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in software engineering, technical consulting, or automation roles.
  • Hands-on experience delivering automation or integration solutions on iPaaS platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi, SnapLogic, or similar.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and Bash scripting, processes, and related operations.
  • Working experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and IAM.
  • Experience with Docker, RESTful APIs, OAuth authentication, and SQL in an RDBMS.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools, agile methodologies, and project management tools such as Jira.
  • Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation is preferred.
  • Exposure to SSO configuration and identity providers such as Okta is preferred.
  • Experience with generative AI tools such as OpenAI or Anthropic and vector databases is preferred.
  • Coding experience in Python, Java, or Ruby is preferred.
  • Understanding of cloud security and data-handling best practices, strong English communication skills, collaboration, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Ability to work the EMEA/US EST timezone schedule from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. IST.
