Associate Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Develop low-level software for direct hardware access using device datasheets and embedded controller peripherals.
  • Create diagnostic code that thoroughly exercises assigned product hardware functionality.
  • Read hardware schematics, perform digital circuit analysis, and analyze and debug product failures.
  • Work with embedded software, device drivers, bus systems, Linux, shell scripting, and software development tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, telecommunication engineering, or computer science.
  • At least 3 years of related, up-to-date experience.
  • Experience with embedded software development and low-level hardware access.
  • Proven experience with C/C++ and Python programming.
  • Experience with SPI, I2C, MDIO, PCIe, and device drivers.
  • Experience with Linux, shell scripting, Git, and software development environment tools.
  • Conceptual understanding of continuous integration and version control.
  • Ability to read hardware schematics, perform digital circuit analysis, and debug failure scenarios.
  • Experience with optical telecommunication systems is preferred.
