Responsibilities

Assist with custom application development, maintenance, and support for Information Services.
Develop and optimize Snowflake data models, access controls, and scalable warehouse or lakehouse patterns.
Build and support data engineering, ETL/ELT, and cloud data platform solutions in AWS environments.
Define data entities, relationships, metrics, and data product requirements with business stakeholders.
Document solutions and contribute to governed data products for analytics, AI, or application use cases.
Support deployment workflows and automated testing for data pipelines.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED is required.
At least 1 year of experience as a software developer or software engineer is required.
Strong experience in data engineering, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and cloud data platform development.
Hands-on Snowflake experience, including data modeling, performance optimization, access controls, and scalable warehouse or lakehouse patterns.
Experience working in AWS cloud environments.
Knowledge of ontology, semantic modeling, taxonomies, business glossaries, or knowledge graph concepts.
Strong SQL skills and experience with Python or another data engineering language.
Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred experience includes building governed data products, working with CI/CD, Git, automated testing, deployment workflows, and complex enterprise data environments.
