Responsibilities

Design, develop, and refine new Android storefront features.
Locate and resolve application bugs and crashes.
Brainstorm new ideas and concepts.
Collaborate with teammates on design, code reviews, and estimation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of experience in a software or technology environment, or 6 years of software development experience in place of the specified degree or diploma.
At least 3 years of professional mobile development experience, including at least 2 years of native Android development.
Strong computer science and programming fundamentals.
Proficiency with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and core Android architecture components.
Understanding of Android application and activity lifecycles, asynchronous processing, platform fragmentation, screen sizes, OS versions, and Android user experience patterns.
Preferred experience includes Android Java, native iOS development, RESTful APIs, unit testing, Robot Framework UI automation, retail eCommerce apps, GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
Candidates must reside in South Africa.
