Responsibilities

  • Ship high-quality features for Eight Sleep’s native Android app.
  • Build pixel-perfect mobile experiences with polished UI and animations.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.
  • Optimize app performance, stability, and member experience.
  • Collaborate with backend, firmware, ML, R&D, growth, hardware, and executive teams.
  • Build scalable and testable enterprise-grade Android software.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience shipping high-quality features for native Android apps.
  • Fluent proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, MVVM, and MVI.
  • Experience building scalable, testable, enterprise-grade applications.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining stability.
  • Preferred experience building custom UI components in Compose.
  • Preferred experience building software for hardware products, particularly in health or medical fields.
  • Preferred experience working with health-related apps and peripherals.
