Responsibilities

Build customer-facing Android features for the software embedded on Peloton Bikes, Treads, and Rows.
Iterate on team processes, technology, and communication.
Translate Product, UX, and UI requirements into code implementations.
Profile Android UI, memory, and threading performance.
Evaluate and communicate engineering solutions and trade-offs.
Manage complex cross-team coordination and work closely with product owners.
Assist with and grow mid- and junior-level engineers.
Leverage AI-first coding tools such as Claude Code.

Requirements

4+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years of Android development experience.
Solid experience interacting with REST APIs.
Strong understanding of Kotlin, Java, MVVM, MVI, and Android threading and processing.
Ability to accomplish complex engineering tasks independently and collaborate with UX, design, product, and cross-functional teams.
B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent years of work experience.
Preferred experience with automation testing such as Espresso.
Preferred experience with GitHub projects or open-source contributions.
Preferred continuous build experience in an Agile environment.
Preferred experience using gRPC and GraphQL.

Salary: $140k - $168k/yr
