Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, deploy, and support production software components across backend, frontend, APIs, and integration layers.
  • Own features end to end from requirements articulation through deployment and support.
  • Use AI tools across the software development lifecycle for code generation, testing, documentation, optimization, and automation.
  • Write maintainable, verified, secure, reliable, and resilient code; participate in code reviews and pair programming.
  • Collaborate with a small pod on planning, delivery, reviews, retrospectives, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
  • Follow security, data protection, governance, auditability, and responsible AI-assisted engineering requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong experience as a software engineer delivering production systems.
  • Strong foundations in data structures, APIs, CI/CD, and debugging.
  • Hands-on expertise with Java, React, PostgreSQL, and Neptune DB.
  • Strong credentials in cloud environments such as AWS.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Practical exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Amazon Kiro, Claude Code, automated testing, and AI-enabled documentation.
  • Experience in small squads or pods with shared ownership and familiarity with cloud platforms and modern delivery pipelines are desirable.
