AI DevOps Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build and extend Day 1 automation for infrastructure provisioning pipelines, account vending, golden repository templates, and CI/CD components.
  • Build and extend Day 2 automation for lifecycle management, upgrade pipelines, dependency scanning, drift detection, and automated remediation workflows.
  • Write and maintain Terraform modules, GitLab CI/CD components, and Python automation for the internal platform paved road.
  • Integrate AI and agentic tooling into operational workflows to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
  • Collaborate with Security, IAM, Network, and FinOps teams to translate requirements into automated guardrails.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with experience integrating new technologies into daily workflows.
  • At least 5 years of experience building and operating large-scale multi-cloud infrastructure across major cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on Terraform expertise, including module design, state management, and CI-driven workflows.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or equivalent scripting and automation languages.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and Kubernetes operations.
  • Understanding of identity federation, secrets management, and least-privilege security patterns.
  • Preferred: experience with AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, SCPs, or RCPs.
  • Preferred: experience with GitOps patterns and Renovate, Dependabot, or ArgoCD.
  • Preferred: experience with Kubeflow, MLflow, Bedrock, SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Gemini Enterprise.
