Responsibilities

  • Translate security requirements and operational risks into runtime enforcement and execution control mechanisms.
  • Assess the security of agentic AI systems, orchestration frameworks, MCP servers, APIs, plugins, external tools, and enterprise integrations.
  • Build and enhance execution tracing, logging, auditing, observability, and monitoring for AI agent activity.
  • Support detection, investigation, and operational security for unsafe or anomalous AI runtime behavior.
  • Implement controls for action validation, delegated authority, autonomous decision-making, and AI-driven execution workflows.
  • Collaborate with AI engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, enterprise security, and architecture teams on secure agentic AI deployment.
  • Assess risks involving prompt injection, unsafe tool execution, unauthorized actions, context manipulation, memory poisoning, and insecure agent behavior.
  • Support compliance with internal security requirements, applicable regulations, NIST AI RMF, and OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, application security, runtime security, or related engineering roles.
  • At least 2 years of experience securing or supporting AI/ML/GenAI applications, platforms, or services.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms, APIs, orchestration frameworks, AI-assisted development environments, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Strong understanding of runtime security, policy enforcement, action validation, execution tracing, delegated authority controls, API security, IAM, observability, logging, and runtime monitoring.
  • Knowledge of AI-agent security risks, including unsafe tool execution, prompt injection, memory poisoning, context manipulation, and insecure agent behavior.
  • Working knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, MITRE ATLAS, and NIST AI RMF.
  • Advanced degrees such as a master’s degree and AI/ML or cybersecurity certifications are preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and initiative-management skills.
