Responsibilities

  • Assess vulnerabilities, exploits, and incidents from researchers, threat intelligence, public disclosures, and internal testing.
  • Manage the complete PSIRT case lifecycle, including intake, investigation, remediation tracking, disclosure, and closure.
  • Coordinate vulnerability response across Lenovo product security offices, engineering teams, Legal, and business groups.
  • Collaborate and negotiate with suppliers, technology partners, and security researchers on remediation and responsible disclosure.
  • Write, review, and publish technical security advisories covering fixes, workarounds, and mitigations.
  • Manage internal and customer-facing communications about critical vulnerabilities and product security issues.
  • Support Cyber Resilience Act reporting, regulatory responses, and vulnerability readiness exercises.
  • Monitor vulnerability databases, threat feeds, and third-party notifications for emerging product risks.
  • Develop vulnerability management metrics, improve triage automation, and refine playbooks, SOPs, and governance documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Law, or a highly related technical discipline.
  • At least 8 years of applied experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, product security, enterprise risk, or regulatory compliance roles in a team-lead capacity.
  • Experience in security operations, incident response, vulnerability analysis, and/or threat intelligence.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical teams, senior leadership, and external researchers.
  • Availability for occasional off-hours support during critical cycles and intermittent travel for regulatory assessments and stakeholder alignment.
  • Preferred: hands-on enterprise Product Security Incident Response Team experience.
  • Preferred: direct interaction with external security researchers, CERTs, regulators, and industry consortiums.
  • Preferred: experience handling AI-related vulnerabilities and modern machine learning platform incidents.
