Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and manage new datasets for quantitative research and trading.
Design and implement data stores and APIs for large datasets.
Build and maintain infrastructure for ingesting, processing, and serving data.
Develop real-time and batch workflows with attention to reliability, latency, and scalability.
Monitor data processes and produce datasets for researchers and traders.
Collaborate with traders, researchers, and engineers on data and platform problems.

Requirements

Be a penultimate- or final-year student completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
Have a grounding in algorithms, data structures, parallel programming, and object-oriented programming.
Have experience with Python and an interest in solving data or infrastructure problems with software.
Demonstrate interest in software engineering, infrastructure, or data engineering, particularly where performance and reliability matter.
Use a rigorous, structured approach to problem solving and communicate clearly in collaborative environments.
Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases is preferred.
Front-end development experience and an interest in financial markets or algorithmic trading are preferred.
