Senior Java Software Engineer

Atlantis Technology (atlantistech.com) is seeking talented engineers who want to help us build the future. These projects range from supporting financial institutions and life science companies, to building prototypes for small startups, to data harvesting, manipulation and discovery.

We're building out small, agile teams that directly contribute to big projects for our partners. Our engineers have a say in the development process, and work closely with our Product Managers and partners to build awesome, functional applications.

Skills and Requirements:

• Ideal candidates have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
• Significant experience in Java (9+) development, preferably in a team environment
• Managed projects hosted in AWS, leveraging a broad array of services (S3, EC2, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, etc.)
• Experience contributing to Microservice based applications
• You believe in test-driven development and actually implement it
• Comfortable with being collaborative and agile
• Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and apply them to make even better products
• An engineering mindset. We're looking for problem solvers, not just code slingers

Extra Credit:

• You have full-stack capabilities
• You have developed, maintained and documented APIs
• AWS Certifications
• DevOps experience a plus
• Understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, SMTP, HTTP and Distributed Networks
• Love to learn
• Have entertaining stories for the team
